BD84 arriving from LHR
BD87 departing to LHR
due to heavy snow forecasted to affect London Heathrow.
Bmi passengers are advised to contact the BMI reservations number on 0844 848 4888 which is available 24 hours.

FLYBE STATEMENT:
Flybe can confirm that it has experienced technical issues with its de-icing equipment this morning at George Best Belfast City Airport. engineers have identified the problem and expect the repair to be completed by 11.30am. In the meantime, we are grateful to the airport for assisting us with their de-icing facilities. The malfunction of our machine has caused a number of flights to be delayed and we apologise unreservedly to all passengers who have been inconvenienced. In total 8 flights have been affected by delays. There were no cancellations.

Olympic legend and unlikely superstar Eddie the Eagle took to the skies to spend the day in Belfast today (29th November) to help launch low cost airline bmibaby’s new route to Geneva.
The new ski route straight to the slopes, launches on 17th December from Belfast City Airport and will operate twice a week Saturdays and Sundays with a Friday service over Christmas.

There will be no direct impact on George Best Belfast City Airport this Wednesday 30 November as a result of the UK Border agency strike action. However, passengers connecting to Belfast should be aware of possible disruption at other UK airports.
We would advise passengers to check with their airlines to find out what arrangements are in place during the planned strike action.
