The Roads Service plan to undertake road improvements and resurfacing around the Tillysburn Roundabout area of Belfast. This will involve road closures during the night of the Sydenham Bypass and other roads in close proximity.

Following an extensive review of operations and in line with Department for Transport regulations, new arrangements concerning vehicle access to the front of the airport terminal will take effect on Thursday 30 April 2009.
All persons wishing to drop off or collect passengers at the airport must now enter the Short Stay Car Park.

George Best Belfast City Airport has officially launched its Community Fund, a voluntary initiative which will see funds donated to charity for flights leaving or departing the airport outside the scheduled operating hours. That is between 21:30 and 23:59.

Ryanair, Europe's largest low fares airline, today announced the introduction of a new daily route from George Best Belfast City Airport to Bristol.
The new service will commence on 30th March providing the only low cost service between these two cities.
