Flybe, the UK’s Number One Domestic airline and the largest scheduled airline from the George Best Belfast City Airport has today (July 17) launched a new direct service from George Best Belfast City Airport to Guernsey. The new weekly service will run every Saturday until the end of August with lead in fares beginning at just £54.99 including taxes and charges.
Andrea Hayes, Flybe’s General Manager Market Development says: “I’m delighted that we can increase our customers’ flight choice by providing this additional direct service from Northern Ireland.

The existing multi sector routes available through Flybe connections with nine flights a day between Belfast and Guernsey have proved extremely popular so this direct flight is a welcome addition. Taking just over one and half hours from Belfast, the direct flight will give Northern Ireland consumers a perfect excuse for a short break to this beautiful island.”

With so much to see and do, Guernsey is of great archaeological interest due to the dolmens and menhirs that dot the island. With no VAT and low excise duty, shopping is a popular past time along with hiking, cycling, water sports and the spectacular sandy beaches, everything you need for a quiet short break or extended holiday in the great outdoors.
