    • HUNDREDS CELEBRATE TAKING PART IN FIRST GEORGE BEST BELFAST CITY AIRPORT 5 MILE ROAD RACE

      Hundreds of people took to the streets to participate in the first George Best Belfast City Airport 5 mile road race on Sunday 20th May. The race through the streets of East Belfast, in memory of the late athlete Les Jones, received significant funding from the airport’s community fund and was organised by Athletics NI. Congratulations to all those who took part!

      The five first male and female winners receive their prizes from East Belfast MP Naomi Long and Michelle Hatfield, the airport’s Corporate Responsibility Director.
