    • NEW SERVICES TO BLACKPOOL & ISLE OF MAN ANNOUNCED

      Monday 06 Jul 2009

Manx2.com has responded to growth in passenger numbers on its Belfast services by today (Monday 6 July) increasing the frequency of scheduled flights to Blackpool and the Isle of Man.

There has been continuous growth over the three years that Manx2.com has operated the routes, and the company has responded by increasing the frequency of services to both destinations, including launching a twice-daily return commuter service between Belfast and Blackpool.

Noel Hayes, Chairman of Manx2.com, said: “It is very pleasing to see such a demand that we have had to increase our services. I think that Manx2.com’s combination of low prices, frequent flights and excellent service is what our passengers want, particularly business travellers who will now be able to commute to Blackpool every morning and return the same evening.

“We now operate six return flights to the Isle of Man, and two return flights to Blackpool each weekday, making business travel much easier and more convenient, and we expect the business community in and around Belfast to respond positively.”

Manx2 is also launching a new 07:20 Monday morning departure from Belfast to the Isle of Man which will arrive on the Island for 8am.

Flights cost from just £24.95 to the Isle of Man, and £44.90 to Blackpool, one way including taxes and charges. These can be purchased from www.Manx2.com
