The Ireland Air Ambulance Flight Simulator Road Show will be visiting George Best Belfast City Airport from 26-30th January 2009.

For a small donation to the Charity, you can take the controls of the Helicopter Flights Simulator and, with expert guidance from our Pilot, fly over the familiar landmarks of Belfast.  So why not check in early or simply take a trip to the Airport so you can have a go, whilst showing your support to the Ireland Air Ambulance.

The Road Show, supported by Sam's Yer Man (S&R Electric Ltd) in conjunction with Philips, is being organised to help raise funds and the profile of the Ireland Air Ambulance (IAA). As a Charity IAA will be launching Ireland's first dedicated Air Ambulance Service in June 2009.  the service will operated out of Omagh and cover the counties of Antrim, Armagh, Belfast, Cavan, Donegal, Down, Fermanagh, Galway, L'Derry, Leitrim, Louth, Longford, Meath, Monaghan, Roscommon, Sligo, Tyrone, Westmeath as well as Rathlin Island and the Isle of Man.

Funded entirely by donations from the general public and members of the business community the service requires funding of approximately £2m per annum, will operate 365 days a year and will carry a fully trained trauma surgeon at all times.  this will allow the IAA to deliver life saving medical services at the scene of a potential life threatening emergency.

Come and join in on the fun at George Best Belfast City Airport and help the Ireland Air Ambulance Campaign.
