Security Notice
In light of the heightened security measures, the area immediately in front of the airport will now be designated a drop-off only zone. As a result, any persons intending to collect passengers from the George Best Belfast City Airport must park in the short stay car park. Parking will be free in this area for the first 15 minutes.
All passengers are advised to check with the airline they are travelling with on the dimensions and number of bags permitted to carry on the aircraft. These containers must be brought to the airport contained in a single, transparent, resealable plastic bag (about the size of a small freezer bag), which itself must not exceed 1 litre in capacity (approximately 20cm x 20cm). The contents of the plastic bag must fit comfortably and the bag sealed. Each passenger may carry only one such bag of liquids. The bag must be presented separately for examination at the airport security point.
Passengers are reminded that George Best Belfast City Airport do not provide these transparent bags. Passengers are asked to bring their own or they can be purchased onsite in the shop or a vending machine located close to security control.
