Belfast City Airport will once again shine a spotlight on Northern Ireland’s thriving distillery scene as That’s the Spirit returns from 25th October – 29th October 2026.The week‑long celebration will champion the craft and heritage behind some of the region’s most exciting spirit brands, giving passengers the opportunity to sample premium products and meet the makers driving Northern Ireland’s distilling renaissance.
The distillers taking part in this year’s line‑up include Basalt, Copeland, McConnell’s Irish Whisky, and Jawbox.
Caroline Rowan, Head of Commercial at Belfast City Airport, said:
“As an airport rooted in the heart of Northern Ireland, we are committed to celebrating the exceptional producers who are elevating Northern Ireland’s reputation on the global distilling stage.
“That’s the Spirit is about giving passengers a genuine taste of home through the craftsmanship and character that define our local distillers.
“We are excited to welcome a range of distillery brands this year, each bringing their own story and spirit to the terminal.”
Sampling will take place throughout the week in World Duty Free and the Aspire Lounge, with exclusive promotions available in The Artisan and Samson’s Kitchen and Bar.
Brand representatives will be on hand to share tasting notes and production insights behind each bottle.

The wide selection of Northern Ireland-made products showcased throughout the week will be available for all passengers to purchase at World Duty Free, including gin, whiskey, vodka, rum, and liqueurs.
