Major maintenance works on the M3 Lagan Bridge will take place over three weekends in August, with temporary road closures and diversions affecting routes to and from Belfast City Airport.
The works will take place on:
Friday 14 August – Monday 17 August 2026
Friday 21 August – Monday 24 August 2026
Friday 28 August – Monday 31 August 2026
During these periods, sections of the M3 On and Off-Slip Roads will be closed, with traffic diverted onto alternative routes.
Passengers are encouraged to plan ahead and allow extra time while diversions are in place.
