A Simulated Emergency Exercise will take place at Belfast City Airport on Sunday 22nd October 2023.The exercise, which is a legal safety requirement, will simulate emergency response procedures on site between the hours of 0800 and 1400.
Emergency services, including the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI), NI Fire and Rescue Service (NIFRS) and the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) will be taking part and will therefore have a presence at the airport on Sunday.
Passengers should be aware there is no cause for concern as this is a scheduled exercise, and flights will be unaffected.
